Ashley is a perfect example of how in dentistry, less can be more. Ashley originally came to us wanting veneers or lumineers because she was unhappy with the shape and color of her teeth. She was the ideal candidate for recontouring and whitening.

Cosmetic recontouring is a process where the existing teeth are reshaped to change height, color, and also the way that light is reflected from the tooth surfaces. Extremely subtle and small amounts of selective grinding can make a tremendous difference in a person's smile. As you can see from Ashley's result veneers were not needed to achieve a beautiful smile.

About half of the patients that seek us out for veneers end up with a simple recontouring and whitening procedure and leave thrilled with the results and even happier that they didn't have to spend a lot of money.

We believe that recontouring, done correctly, is a lost art form in dentistry. It is one of our favorite procedure's as it allows us to utilize our artistic skills which we work so diligently to refine.
